How to apply
- BUNAC welcomes returners and offers three great value options for those returning to camp in 2010. You can be a repeat counsellor with BUNAC regardless of whether you originally went with BUNAC or not but you must have previously held a J-1 camp counsellor visa to be eligible.

To apply as a returner with BUNAC is easy using our new online application system. Simply create a BUNAC account and you will be able to complete a returner application form and pay your registration fee. You will also be able to view which documents we need to receive in order to complete your application, such as a copy of your contract, your reference and proof of your previous J-1 visa. Once we have received your application form and payment we will post you a police background check application.
When we have received all of your necessary documentation, including an acceptable reference, you will be provided with information about flights (if applicable), insurance and the visa application process.
We encourage you to make the earliest application you can in order to avoid the busy period at the US Embassy and possible delays to your visa application. If you're making your own flight arrangements you may find that the best deals are available earlier in the year.
