Applying to Work Canada
You must submit the following to enable us to process your application:
- Completed and signed Application Form
- Money order or cashier’s check (made payable to BUNAC) in the amount of $380* (program
fee plus Canadian Government entry fee). You will also need to pay your insurance
premium at this time; this can be added to the $380* money order. Personal checks
are not accepted
- Proof of US$700 personal funds - this must be a copy of a bank statement either:
(a) your own (which must show your name, date and balance) or, (b) a parent’s along
with a statement from them that funds will be available to you on request
- Proof of Student Status - the completed college/university declaration on the application
form impressed with a raised seal and signed by the registrar or, an unofficial
transcript or a signed letter on official stationery from your school
- Copy of US passport information page
- Insurance Declaration Form - please don’t forget to sign the form!
*Combined total subject to change due to fluctuations in exchange rates.
If you plan to enter Canada at the end of your Semester of Eligibility, you should
not apply before November 1st (fall), or March 1st (spring).
Cancellation conditions
If you cancel from the program before your Certificate of Participation has been
issued, there will be a US$100 program cancellation fee. However, please note that
we normally process an application as soon as we receive it.
