Accreditation
When you book with us, you can be sure that you're being trained by an experienced,
well established organisation that has been officially recognised by professionals
as the leader in its field, gaining your TEFL certification.
The World's most respected Online TEFL Courses
Our philosophy now is the same as it has always been: people matter. The quality
of our courses affects everyone involved: our tutees, tutors and most importantly,
the thousands of students who learn from i-to-i graduates every year.
This is why we constantly review the quality of our courses and the tuition that
they offer. We believe that we are the very best at what we do and that our TEFL
graduates will benefit from our excellent reputation.
International Recognition
Because of our attention to detail and the quality of our courses, i-to-i is the
first online TEFL provider to be accredited by two internationally respected external
bodies - the ODLQC and the SQMS. This means that our courses are regularly inspected
and assessed to ensure that they meet the very highest industry standards.
There is no single internationally recognized TEFL certificate. What is accepted
by schools in Chile may not be accepted by schools in Italy, but because of our
joint accreditation, our certificates are amongst the most highly respected in the
business. We chose to work with the ODLQC and the SQMS because they are highly respected
and widely recognized, so you'll have a choice of 1000's of the best language schools
worldwide to teach English abroad.
Because of the high standard of our courses, schools all over the world actively
seek out i-to-i graduates for TEFL teaching jobs. It's also the reason that 94%
of our graduates would recommend i-to-i TEFL courses to their friends!
The Accreditation Council for TESOL Distance Education Courses (ACTDEC)
The Accreditation Council is a non-profit making independent body governed by officers
and Council, established to advance professionalism by maintaining and also improving
on standards of distance TESOL/TEFL programmes.
i-to-i have begun the process for full accreditation with ACTDEC and have agreed
to abide by the ACTEC Code of Practice.

The Open and Distance Learning Council (ODLQC)
ODLQC is the British government's guardian of quality in open and distance learning.
It was set up in 1968 to monitor and enhance quality in training and education.
The ODLQC have strict standards to which course providers must conform. It's not
just the quality of our courses that the ODLQC assesses, but the whole process from
start to finish. Our ODLQC accreditation means that our courses have passed a rigorous
evaluation and continue to be monitored regularly.
"This is a significant success for i-to-i and clearly demonstrates their commitment
to the highest standards in their work"
Dr David Morley, Chief Executive, ODLQC.

standards can be found here
Scottish Quality Management System (SQMS)
The SQMS recognizes organizations that provide high quality products and services:
i-to-i received full accreditation in 2006. This means that we conform to the strict
quality standards set by the SQMS. As well as assessing the quality of our TEFL
courses the SQMS help us to continually improve and develop our courses.
Our SQMS accreditation has enabled us to register as an ILA Learning Provider. So
if you're eligible for ILA
funding you could receive up to £200 to cover the cost of your i-to-i TEFL
course.
Investor in People
Since 2002 i-to-i has been externally assessed and recognized as an 'Investor in
People'. This means we're constantly working toward improving our performance by
providing our employees with the knowledge, skills and motivation they need to do
their job well. This constant investment in our staff is reflected in the high quality
of our courses and the service we offer our customers.
